I have about had it with people being too serious with themselves. I am a Conservative Christian, and you can shoot the Bible with anything you want; You can even use it for toilet paper. It won’t matter really. Yes the book is sacred, and yes it is Holy. However the Book itself is not. The contents are what are sacred, not the paper. So why is it that the koran is so sacred? Is the content not only sacred but also the paper it is printed on? Also we do know that some of it is sacred, because it is plagerized from the Scriptures. Old Mo’ was good at copying, but not very original.
Here is a story that is plainly outrageous. And NOT because someone used the koran as a target. Not at all. In fact what I find outrageous is that they could have found 10 Bibles shot to pieces, and that would have just been “in good fun”. But shoot one koran, and the stuff hits the fan.
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush apologized to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and promised prosecution of a U.S. soldier accused of using a copy of the Koran for target practice, Iraq's government said on Tuesday.
It said in a statement Bush had tendered a personal apology in a telephone call with Maliki.
U.S. military commanders in Iraq had already apologized to Iraqi leaders after a copy of the Muslim holy book was found riddled with more than 10 bullet holes at a shooting range near Baghdad on May 11.
The soldier accused of carrying out the shooting has been disciplined and ordered out of Iraq. The U.S. military has not said whether he will face a court martial.
"The American president apologized on behalf of the United States ... promising to present the soldier to the courts," the Iraqi cabinet said.
A spokeswoman for the U.S. embassy said she was unaware of the telephone call and the White House was not immediately available for comment.

Maybe what makes me so mad is that there is no account if this is a good soldier or a bad soldier. He made a choice (not one I would make, because I still respect others beliefs) to shoot up their holy book. Not too smart over there but lets face it… not everyone that joins the military is playing with a full deck.
What is extremely stupid is that he was “ordered out of iraq”, not because I don’t think he deserves to be “disciplined”; but because of a little character called “Corporal Klinger”. Name ring a bell, anyone? If soldiers who are “distraught” see this as a quick ticket out of combat; do you know how many we will see? In my opinion, any book that looses its “inspired” status when translated out of the “original” language it is written in; is at best a poorly written book. And furthermore has no real inspiration or it would be able to be translated. Inspiration will, and should supersede any language barrier.
The thing that bothers me the most about this is, that there is a clear and growing double standard. You are allowing the terrorists to dictate our policies in a round-a-bout way. There would not be a court martial or transfer or even any disciplinary action taken if this had been a Bible. Why is this? Simple, other than the Catholics, and the Mormons, the Christians in this country and around the world don’t whine, cry, bitch and moan every time someone drops a Bible (or a book of Moron). Every other day, we have to listen to some poor muslim or other person whine because they got their feelings hurt. OR someone has offended them.
What is outright Pathetic is that Chaplains in the US Military are hardly allowed to pray “in Jesus name” because it MIGHT offend someone. This is an outrage.
People need to stand up for the things that matter, not just ink and paper but the beliefs that this ink and paper foster in the individual.
This soldier was out of line. But the punishment is way, way too severe for just destroying some ink and paper.
If the extremists would read the Mecca passages as well as the Medina passages, they might understand this too.
Ultimately it is time for all the people who are “offended” when everything doesn’t go their way or the wind is blowing from the wrong direction, to put on their Big Boy Pants and continue with their lives. Maybe it is ok for someone to have a different point of view from you. But that doesn’t change the name of their religion.
It is time for them to put on a helmet (preferably one that doesn’t explode) and face life with Joy and gratitude that they are allowed to live another day in this beautiful world. Not everyone gets that chance.

Is being Gay natural.....
Below is an article from Newsmax, about Michael Reagan’s response to the Rogue Supreme Court in California, that ignores the voting public and chooses to legislate law from the bench. (If you have ever taken a class in government, you know what they did this week, is ILLEGAL. But no one will have the balls to stand up to them and remove them or put them behind bars.)
Reacting to the decision of the California Supreme Court to ignore Proposition 22, which declares that “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California," and was passed with a whopping 61 percent of the vote, an outraged Michael Reagan urged California voters to join him in refusing to vote for any ballot measures in the State of California in the 2008 November election since the courts can simply nullify their votes whenever they want to.
Reagan, whose father Ronald Reagan served two terms as California’s governor before winning the presidency in 1980, said "I am taking my ballot and mailing it directly to the Supreme Court of California at 350 McAllister Street San Francisco, CA 94102-4797 to allow the judges to decide for us. They’re going to do it anyway.”
Reagan told Newsmax: "We have seen this time and time again, Democracy usurped, the voters wishes do not matter, whether its Proposition 187 or the Gay Marriage Ban, its no longer 'We the People,' it is now, 'They the Judges' who make the decisions in the Golden State. As the son of a former Governor of this state I am disgusted."
Noting that the courts have been thwarting the express will of the people, Reagan explained to NewsMax in an exclusive interview that “Proposition 187, a 1994 ballot initiative designed to deny social services, health care, and public education to illegal aliens that passed with 58.8 percent of the vote was overturned by a federal court, in effect telling the voters their will doesn’t count.
“The state of California has a history of voting for ballot measures. But any time Californians seem to vote for an issue that may be even slightly conservative, the liberal left goes out and shops judges, or as in this case, shops courts, and gets them to overturn ballot measures overwhelmingly supported by the voters,” Reagan said.
California voters have no remedy for judicial interference with their expressed will. Reagan said, “We don’t have a Republican Party, it does not exist, it does nothing, and we have a nincompoop for a governor who wants to raise sale taxes or borrow money from the lottery to pay down the out-of-control debt caused by the liberals who are running this state. I’m about ready to say bring back Grey Davis, the guy we recalled.
Schwarzenegger has vetoed two measures that would have authorized same-sex marriage, and today said he would abide by the court's ruling.
"I respect the court's decision and as governor, I will uphold its ruling," he said in a statement. "Also, as I have said in the past, I will not support an amendment to the constitution that would overturn this state Supreme Court ruling."
Said Mike Reagan “The only recourse California voters have is to protest by following my example and mailing their ballots dealing with the proposed propositions to the State Supreme Court. Let them mark it since it does the voters no good to vote in California when we have a Supreme Court that overturns their will whenever they feel like it."
“Why should I vote?” Reagan asked. “I have no reason to vote so as of now I’m stopping. It doesn’t matter what the voters think. It only matters what liberals in black robes think.”

The more and more I see this crap, the more irritated I become. I have had it with people that can’t get their point of view passed by the legal way; so they must get it passed by the courts the illegal way. The Homosexual agenda and the Nazi-esqe tactics they employ is pretty pathetic. They are people just like you and I but that is not good enough for them.
They want “special” treatment, and laws that protect their perverse lifestyles. The most common argument for gay marriage is they want “equal protection” under the law. You have to be as sharp as a bowling ball to believe that. (I guess the California Supreme court must staff themselves with people right off the short bus.) This has nothing to do with equal protection. And apparently those who believe it is must do some pretty good political and legal jujitsu to come to that conclusion.
Here is why. I being a male, cannot marry another male. A gay man being a male, cannot marry another male. My sister, being a female, cannot marry a female. A gay woman being a woman, cannot marry another female. Where is this law discriminatory I ask? Simple, it doesn’t provide what they want.
The only difference in me marrying a male, and a gay man marrying a male; is that I don’t want to. Plain, and Simple. It is just that Simple, No more No less.
There is no other factors. It isn’t that I hate gays, or they scare me. Not at all. In fact I love them just like I love everyone else. This doesn’t mean they get to break the law just because they want to. If the world ran like that there would be complete and total anarchy.
I know many gays and have many gays as friends. And what I see most often… is that being gay is what their ENTIRE life becomes about. Nothing they do can just BE DONE. It has to somehow identify them as being Gay, or it has to Justify their being gay, or something along those lines. Their entire world becomes consumed with “gay”-ness. Which to me is odd; because my life isn’t about my being heterosexual at every second of the day. My daily life is not consumed with my sexuality, and everything that, that entails. I don’t look at everything in life through the “straight” lens; in fact I really don’t even think about it. It is there to enhance my life not to consume every minute of it to justify why I am the way I am.
All that being said; It does bring up the topic of nature and what is natural and un-natural. If something is natural, you don’t need to justify it. It would not need to be defended at every step, and at every second of every minute of every hour of every day. This in and of itself, should be proof of what is really “natural” and what is not “natural”.
If you were indeed “born that way” why would you need to justify it…if it in fact is natural?
If we are to believe evolution is correct, and we are to believe that homosexuality is correct, and we are to believe that “survival of the fittest” is correct. Would there not be a way to procreate through a same sex union? Why the need for both sexes if it is indeed natural?
The truth of the matter is that it isn’t normal, it isn’t natural. In fact it is against the very order of nature. That is why there is a need to constantly, and militantly defend this lifestyle.

Can we learn from mistakes?
I am writing today about a topic that hit the national news. This topic is an easy target for people that are “compassionate”, or say they are. This topic is a hard one for me. I can see both sides of the argument. And also realize that some people are taking it way to far.
This is the story of Megan Meier. Everyone knows it or can find out about it easily by a quick search on the internet. It is a sad story with and uncommon tragic ending. It is a story of mean people and a young girl who killed herself.
Just to help people find where I stand, let’s go over the facts.
A young girl (13) is on her computer on MySpace.
Allegedly a mean mom down the road creates a fake account and poses as a 16yr old boy.
The young girl and Fake I.D. boy converse on MySpace. (maybe mean mama maybe not)
Mean mama (allegedly) is mean to young girl.
Young girl kills herself.
These are not the only issues in the case but these are the ones I am going to go over. Because I don’t have the kind of time it would take to completely go over the issues.
A young girl (13) is on her computer on MySpace. : Now, I am not sure where I should begin on this one. Did any one notice this girl is 13 years old…maybe I was the only one that noticed. She is 13, and no doubt had absolutely no supervision when she was on the computer. Maybe she had one in her room; cuz mommy and daddy were trying to be her friend or wanted her to like them. But I don’t know that for a fact. My opinion MySpace would have a minimum age, to me that would be a responsible thing to do. But then again that is common sense. And that is something that seems to be on the endangered species list nowadays.
Allegedly a mean mom down the road creates a fake account and poses as a 16yr old boy. : This part is where I really get off track. There is not really any proof that SHE, IS in fact the person that made the account. OR that SHE is the one that contacted the young girl. SO… it seems that this is a fishing trip to MAYBE find some evidence to charge her or to prove the charges already. But wait…this is California we are talking about. This is a whole other world. They do have Hollywood though….wait that doesn’t HELP their argument.
The young girl and Fake I.D. boy converse on MySpace. (maybe mean mama maybe not): This is where I need to ask… Where the Hell was either of her Parents? Why is a 13 yr old doing talking to a 16 yr old anyway? Because I know and remember what I thought about as a 16yr old… and that shouldn’t include anyone that is 13. So again…Where the Hell was either of her Parents? Irresponsible and Completely Stupid, at best. Now I understand more than most you need to learn from the mistakes you make, and to learn from them you have to make them. I hope all have learned from this situation.
Mean mama (allegedly) is mean to young girl. : And to this I ask… Who has had someone been mean to them? I know I have in my life. How about you. Why or how could this young lady been so emotionally disturbed that she kills herself over some idiot on the computer? This sounds like an unhealthy child to start with. What was her home situation like? Why didn’t she think she could talk to her parents? I always knew growing up that I could talk to my Mom (Dad not there) about anything. I may have gotten my face slapped into next week if I had done something too stupid. But none the less, she would still love me. Why did this girl not feel like her parents would take the time to help her? Did they not care, as the parents of the kids in the movie The Chumscrubber? (Screwed up movie. But scary true.)
Young girl kills herself. : I have always believed that suicide is the ultimate form of selfishness. I know that this thought is not a popular one, and I know it brings no comfort, and brings no peace to the family. This is the same sentiment I hear from Psychologists, and Psychiatrists both. And maybe this is the rub. Our society has taught since the 1960’s and the “love” children, that “ME” matters above all else. Is it too hard to assume that some children and young adults would grow up thinking they are the center of the universe? Then when they find out that they are not (the center of the universe) they can not handle that world? But maybe we shouldn't be comfortable and peaceful about this situation. It does however make a quote that I have seen around acutely true… “Yesterday’s flower children, are today’s blooming IDIOTS”.
So what should I conclude from this story? Whose fault is it?
The Mean Mama’s that may or may not have had anything to do with this at all……….
The child of the Mean Mama that may or may not have had anything to do with this either………..
The parents of the young girl that took her own life………………
Or maybe the young girl that thought the world was at an end in her view, and decided to kill herself……..
Some have taken this story and created a new law. Which is all well and good; However, the first person that this law helps, ironically, is the Mean Mama and her family. They received death threats because of this story. And enough hate mail / messages.
When will our people realize they are not the center of the universe? Maybe that is the moral of the story. Another is to treat people the way you would want to be treated.
Funny … If these people (and everyone else for that matter) went by the golden rule, this story wouldn’t ever been a story. Because this young lady would probably still be alive. But we will never know.
The saddest part of the story is that this is still going on. Nothing will bring the young girl back. And in our society, “someone has to pay”. Mostly I don’t see that anyone cares if it is the right person… as long as someone pays. This is a destructive and vindictive mindset that has permeated our society since we have taken the focus off of God, and put it on ourselves.
Think about it.

Al Gore is an idiot and so is the Church of global warming...
There were 181 nominations for the Nobel peace prize in 2007. There were 135 individuals, and 46 companies. They range from people that really work for peace to radio talk show hosts to tv talk show hosts, to washed up former VP’s still bitter from loosing. There are some very moving stories in the histories of some. And some that make up their past…
Some of the nominees include…
Sheila Watt-Cloutier – a Canadian inuit political and environmental activist.
Evo morales – the president of Bolivia
Shih Ming-The – another political activist
Martti Ahtisarri - former president of Finland
Mahathi Mohomad - ?
Oprah – You know Oprah. She is probably the leader (via some really silly looking pathetically washed up guru) of the largest cult in the world at the present.
Naseem Shaikh - ?
AlGore – the inventor of the internet (even when he didn’t win for that). And the vice president to the the 2nd worst president in all of history. Second only to Jimmy the peanut farmer.
Rush Limbaugh – radio show host.
Irena Sendler – a Polish social worker that saved more than 2k lives of children of Jewish families during WWII.
Some of these people can be found on wikipedia and other news sources, some can not. Or at least I could not find some of these.
But the most touching story that I found, was that of Irena Sendler.
Irena Sendler was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1910 and sadly passed away May 12, 2008. She lived a life that most people will only read about or see in movies. She lived through joy and sometimes the most horrific situations.
She was an activist in the Polish underground during WWII. During that time she managed to get a job under her father in the Warsaw Social Welfare Department. Under the false premise of conducting inspections of sanitary conditions during a typhoid outbreak, she would go into the Warsaw Ghetto and convince the parents of children to let her have them. She would smuggle them out of the Ghetto in anything from a toolbox to a burlap sack. She would drive them out of the Ghetto and into the country and placed them into families that would take care of them. She kept very good records of who the children were, who the parents were, and where she placed them. She kept all this in a jar which she buried. She also trained her dog to bark when the Gestapo came near to hide the cries of the children.
She single handedly saved at least 2500 children from being killed by the Germans. She was arrested in 1943 by the Gestapo, and was tortured, beaten arms and legs broken, and sentenced to death by the Nazi’s. She was rescued from death by bribing a guard on the way and was left in the woods bleeding broken, and unconscious. She was listed on public bulletin boards as among those executed. She went into hiding but even in hiding, she continued her work for the Jewish children. After this she went back and retrieved the jar and tried to match up the children with their parents. Many of the children (when the parents were dead) were placed in the homes of families that took care of them.
This is just one of the stories that stuck out to me. There are of course hundreds of them like this. Well maybe not exactly like it but many moving stories.
But all that being said. Al Gore wins it for a stupid and false power point presentation. Not to mention that many if not half of the “scientists” don’t even agree with man made global warming.
So when you take everything into consideration. I mean it makes sense that he won right?
Saving children…well we can tell that is over rated.
But lying to the world about something you can’t prove or disprove. Well THAT deserves an award.
I have to say… I actually thought the Nobel Prize was something that was good. All the time growing up that was something to aspire to. But with the fiasco in 2007 with the bastardization of the Nobel Peace Prize; I no longer hold that view. I no longer have any respect for the “award” at all. In fact, I now look at it as a joke. You can not look at it any other way. When there were so many very deserving candidates and Al “I invented the internet” Gore wins with a lie.
You decide.
You decide.
